Through lecture, group activities, and discussion participants will be introduced to the fundamental knowledge and terminology necessary to provide competent and ethical clinical supervision.
This in-service training will provide the information and tools you need to train others so they can confidently talk one-on-one about sexuality with people with developmental disabilities.
As part of an evaluation for special education services, transitional services, or vocational planning, agencies often require information about the client’s cognitive functioning or IQ.
The Supportive Healing Model will highlight the stages of families of substance users and recommendations for treatment providers.
This course offers an in depth review of the history of the use of psychotropic medications for people with intellectual disabilities. This is an approved OASAS ETP course for CASAC, CPP, CPS renewal.
This seminar will focus on each of the DBT skills areas with adaptation and unique approaches to apply towards working with clients with intellectual disabilities.
